4pm and looking for tearooms for my elderly Dad with mobility difficulties to enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of chocolate cake.... no names mentioned re customer service (follow my reviews). Blakeleys hats off to you. The chocolate cake was amazing, as was the scampi and spam buttie. Thank you for your care, understanding, and patience. Dad really enjoyed his meal and felt comfortable dining in your establishment 🐟

Enjoyed fish, chips & mushy peas. Cup of tea. Comfortable chairs. Fair price. Quality fish . Good chips. Nice atmosphere. Good music in the background. Then a walk along the Canal close by. Easy to find. We travelled from Bradford. After being out & about and We will go again. Quick service. And we left feeling satisfied that we'd had a good meal. Can't fault it. Good northern fish and chips, with plenty of other options available too. Really well cooked, always served fresh and piping hot. My only advice? 1. If you want a sit-down meal book in advance as it's very popular with the locals. 2. Think carefully about whether you really have room for a starter as the chip portions are extremely generous!!!
